Robert Emery - Owner
After ten-plus years in the construction industry, Robert Emery started Mecca Painting in 1997. Robert graduated from the University of Wyoming, where he played football for his beloved Cowboys.
Robert’s unique business philosophy is to always puts clients first, and always make them smile.

Brian Blanton
Brian Blanton has been contributing to the success of Mecca Painting for the more than 10 years. His experience is not just limited to painting, but also used as a great resource for our clients and staff. Full of energy and answers, Brian meets with customers, gives quotes and offers his professional painting advice on a daily basis. Brian and his wife keep active and have fun with their three children, two boys and a girl. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, target shooting and anything to do with the great outdoors.

Jeremy Wood (Woody)
Jeremy is originally from Marion, OH. He earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Columbus College of Art and Design and an Art Education Certification for K-12 from Notre Dame College. As a gifted painter with more than two decades of professional experience, Jeremy holds the impressive distinction of being a master of fine finishes. He is a versatile painter employing a variety of different finishes that our customers love. Jeremy enjoys playing ice hockey and works on the ice crew for the Columbus Blue Jackets. He and his wife of fifteen years are the proud parents of a boy and girl who attend Columbus Public Schools.

Sharon Rigsby
Sharon grew up in Detroit, MI, but has been calling Columbus and Mecca Painting home for the last two years. She attended community college and is currently working on an Associate’s Degree in Art History. Sharon has an expansive knowledge of paint products and equipment. In addition to her artistic skills, Sharon brings more than 12 years experience in the fields of customer service, transportation and logistics, giving her the wonderful ability to assist customers with their questions and concerns. Her hobbies include a wide variety of artistic endeavors as well as sport- and exercise-related activities.

Brandon Chapin
Brandon was born in Columbus, OH and attended school in Worthington. At an early age, he enjoyed the artistic challenge and fulfillment painting offers. Brandon has been painting with us for the last two years and enthusiastically applies his comprehensive knowledge and artistic eye to every project. He and his wife have two children, a boy and a girl, and also a 150-pound English Mastiff. Currently living in the Dublin area, Brandon’s hobbies include fishing, sports, and all activities that include his family or spending time outdoors.
