Brian Blanton
A native of Zanesville, Ohio, Brian moved to Columbus with his family in 2000. He has worked for Mecca Painting for several years.
Brian’s interests include playing football, baseball, softball, hockey, paintball and martial arts. Brian also enjoys spending time with his boys and boxer, Gordy.
When asked about his job, Brian comments, “I have worked with Mecca for several years and really enjoy my job. I thank each of our customers who allow me to work on their homes.”
Loretta Long
A graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for Interior Design, Loretta has over ten years experience in design specializing in design planning, painting and painting techniques. Ms. Long’s background also involves selecting custom draperies, bedding and furniture.
Loretta explains, “I feel with my experience and expertise in color and design I can help pick the perfect shades and type of technique to bring our customer’s living space the color and texture needed to make the home truly theirs.”
When away from work, Loretta enjoys art, poetry, reading, gardening and crocheting.
Al Hughes
A 1987 graduate of Thomas Worthington High School, Al also studied business at Hampton University and The Ohio State University. Married with two children, Mr. Hughes has been painting professionally since 1999. His areas of expertise include working with different wall textures and applying various types of paint.
Al comments, “It is nice to know our customers enjoy having us in their homes. The work we do for them makes a real difference in transforming a house into a home.”
Josh Wittekiend
Although trained to work in semi-custom homes, Josh moved into custom home painting and has been with Mecca ever since. He is a ten year professional.
In his spare time, Josh enjoys restoring cars and holds an ASE certification as a parts professional.
Josh comments, “I always strive to do the best I can. I appreciate the fact that our customers trust us to work on their homes.”
Joaquin Quintero
Although currently on duty with the U.S Military in Iraq, Joaquin, known as “Q” to his friends, is an experienced professional painter. Some of hobbies include spending time with his Sheltie, reading and outdoor activities.
Joaquin comments, “Customer satisfaction is my only concern.”
